TOG rating, or Thermal Overall Grade, measures how strongly a duvet resists heat flow. One TOG equals 0.1 m²·K/W under standard test conditions. In UK bedding, lower TOG means less insulation and higher TOG means more. TOG describes thermal resistance, not fill quality or duvet weight alone.

Definition. TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) measures thermal resistance of a textile such as a duvet. Higher TOG means greater insulation for the same construction class.

TOG is a thermal-resistance rating, not a subjective warmth score. Compare TOG values only within the same product category and test method context.
