In short

A UK Small Double is 120 × 190 cm, also called a 4ft bed. It is 30 cm wider than a Single and 15 cm narrower than a Double. It suits one adult who wants more room than a Single, or a room too narrow for a Double. Sheets and frames must say Small Double or 120 cm.
