# Bed room planner: measure for a better fit.
 A bed room planner compares your room with the full bed frame. Enter both sizes in centimetres to see the space left. Then check doors, storage and delivery access. Print your result and the UK bed size chart. The drawing cannot confirm that furniture will pass through stairs or doorways.

## Will the bed frame fit my room?
 Use the full outside size of the frame, including the headboard. Mattress size alone is not enough.

   Clear rectangle in your room Room width (cm) Room length (cm) Measure the usable space. Allow for fixed furniture and anything that sticks out.

  Subtract frame width from room width. Divide by two for equal side gaps. Subtract frame length from room length for the foot gap. Use the paper worksheet below.

### Your room plan

  This is a rectangle check. It does not prove comfortable access or a safe fit. Check doors, drawers, radiators, skirting, sockets and the full delivery route. Use the maker’s clearance rules for an ottoman or adjustable bed.

## Printable UK bed size chart
 These are mattress sizes. Bed frames can be wider and longer. Match the mattress, base and bedding in centimetres.

| Emperor (common) | 200 × 200 | 78.7 × 78.7 |

 Emperor is not a fixed size. Confirm the maker’s dimensions. A Euro Single can be 90 × 200 cm; a UK Single is 90 × 190 cm. Do not choose by the name alone.

## Bedroom and bed delivery measuring sheet
 Write all sizes in centimetres. Use the smallest clear opening and the largest outside part. Ask the seller for each packed piece’s dimensions.

### Before you order

- □ Ask how the bed arrives: flat-packed, split base or one large piece.
- □ Confirm the clear space needed for drawers, a lifting lid or an adjustable base.
- □ Check skirting, door handles, bannisters, ceilings and sharp turns.
- □ Ask the delivery team to confirm access from your measurements and photos.
- □ Check assembly, room-of-choice delivery and what happens if access fails.

No single doorway measurement proves delivery will work. Long rigid pieces need room to turn. Follow the seller’s access instructions.
