    number 17250017. That company is the data controller for this website. We
    do not sell your information. We do not run adverts. If you email us, we
    read the message. Hosting logs and a cookie-choice record may also exist.
    Analytics stays off until you press Accept.

BedGuide is the name of this website. It is not a separate company.

## What information do we hold?

Emails you send to editorial@bedguide.co.uk. We keep the address, the
        message, and any page link you include so we can reply, consider a
        listing or partnership enquiry, or correct a guide.

Short technical logs from our host, Cloudflare. These can include an
        IP address, a browser type, and the page you asked for. They exist
        for security and to keep the site working.

Your analytics choice, after you press Accept or Reject. We store
        that in a first-party cookie called bedguide-consent.

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not take payments. We do
      not run a shop cart.

## What we do not do

- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not buy advertising lists.
- We do not run affiliate tracking on BedGuide pages.
- We do not turn analytics on until you press Accept.

## Directory and partnership enquiries

Our enquiry forms prepare an email draft on your device. Typing into a
      form does not send the details to BedGuide. We do not save your draft in
      browser storage. Copying or downloading a message keeps it on your device.
      Your email provider handles it when you choose to send it.

If you send an enquiry, we use your contact details and message to
      assess the request and reply. We do not publish your personal contact
      details or add you to a newsletter. Please do not include customer
      information or confidential documents. You can email us to withdraw
      an enquiry or ask us to delete its personal details.

## Cookies

      Until you press Accept, analytics stays off. Consent stays denied if
      you press Reject, or if you make no choice.

## How long we keep things

Correction emails stay as long as we need them to fix a page and keep
      the public [corrections log](/corrections/) honest. Hosting
      logs are short-lived. The consent cookie lasts up to one year, or until
      you change it.

Business enquiry emails are kept while needed to consider and respond
      to the request. We review closed enquiries and remove personal details
      when they are no longer needed for that purpose or a legal obligation.

## Your rights

UK data-protection law lets you ask what we hold, ask us to correct it,
      or ask us to delete it when the law allows. Email

## Who can you complain to?

Email us first. We will read it. The Information Commissioner’s Office
      is the UK privacy regulator. We will publish an ICO registration number
