# OEKO-TEX

> OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is a third-party textile mark. It shows listed fabrics or components were tested against that standard’s harmful-substance criteria. It is not a comfort rating, fire certificate, or organic farming label. Always check which part of the mattress or bedding the certificate covers. Pair it with UK fire labels and warranty reading.

**Definition.** OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is a textile testing mark for certain harmful substances. It does not mean a mattress is organic or medical grade.
