# End-Lift Ottoman

> An end-lift ottoman bed is hinged near the head of the bed, so the mattress platform lifts from the foot end. You stand at the foot to open it. It suits rooms where both sides of the bed are blocked by furniture or walls. Check there is standing room at the foot and space for the full lid path.

End-lift beds help when bedside tables or walls block both long sides.
